Generally its not recommended to use fuel injector cleaner on the early injectors like what your Maxima will have however... If you would like to clean them out one of the very popular ones I know of that many people do use is Seam Foam. You can run it through the intake itself, in the oil, and in the gas to really clean the engine out.

Ahh, so are you currently having injector issues? Nissan injectors are usually considered to be quite weak, especially with your car being at least 17 years old. It may just be time for some new injectors.

Generally you want to stay away from rebuilt injectors but you may check out DeatschWerks and see if they have any you can use. They usually do a very good job with injectors. http://www.deatschwerks.com

You hit that one on the target. 17 years to the day my injectors started acting up on my gxe. No aftermarket cleaner could fix this. It only makes it worse. Not cheap, a whole frame costs about 1000 dollars. I used a Nissan dealer to install this.

I have used WitchHunter.com numerous times, all with very good results. For $15 an injector you can't beat it. If pulling them isn't something you fancy, try the Seafoam as mentioned above or try the Lucas injector cleaner. Made a noticeable improvement on my Civic and my 300zx. but remember: it is not a fix for a failed or leaking injector!!!

It's all a matter of opinion and preference. My preference is Redline's Fuel system Cleaner. It's extremely potent and unlike techron, which is just simple alcohol/kerosene combinations which a lot of injector cleaners are.________________pillar cover
