Hey guys, I have a 1997 Nissan Maxima GXE and it's been having some rather rough idling and the take off is not as good as it was. I was just wondering if you guys prefer using a fuel injector cleaner or seafoaming? I heard seafoaming does wonders for your engine but I am sort of hesitant to try it out. Any ideas?

Thx!

I've used both. Seafoam didn't give me any really noticable results.

BG44K... that stuff is beter. I used a can when I was getting some sputtering, and that took care of it.

I did the seafoam on my truck and daughter's camry. I pour half can into the vacuum lines while running and then turn it off for an hour. Pour the other half into the gas tank. Then start it up and drive till it stops smoking. I also take carb or throttle body cleaner and spray the inside of your throttle body. Open the butterfly and spray around. My truck idles smoother and throttle response is better. You also want to check when you fuel filter was last change depending on your mileage.
