Fuel injector and PCV problems

Just got a 1993 GT-R. Like any used car, it has its problems. Most pressing, sometimes the engine dies. The previous owner mentioned a leaky fuel injector, but it doesn't look like it's leaking so much to starve the whole engine of fuel. While under the hood, I noticed the PCV was disconnected. Would this cause the problem? Any other ideas what it might be?
