Hi, I have searched everything I can find and I can`t find my particular problem covered. I have a 90 240sx sohc manual .... I just dropped in a dohc engine from a 92 auto. I used the 92 wiring and ecu. The end plug ( just past the ecu ) did not match up so I called one of the sponsors of this site and they advised me to remove the wires from the brown (92) plug and repin them into the white (90) plug. I kept the wires from the 5-speed transmission and starter that run to the battery cables. Everything is plugged in and the engine turns over. I have fire on the plugs and the engine will hit with starter fluid. The fuel pump is running. It seems the injectors are not firing. Could this be from the automatic ecu??? Please help if you can. Thanks. Sidd

I know you have to wire together two wires under the main engine fuse box. I want to say you must splice together black w/white stripe with black w/yellow stripe. I was told this and shown first hand which wires they were, but it was a few months ago. I have heard this from more than one source also.

No, problem. I am glad that my memory is dependable.
