I just posted this today on the g35driver forum...

New and Different Fuel Flow Issues

Ever since I had the fuel hose replaced (see this thread... http://g35driver.com/forums/sh...age=2 ) i have inherited this new problem. The Austin TX Infiniti Service center told me that I was having issues with less fuel getting to the left side of my engine, but they do not know how to fix it.

Anyone else get the following symtoms.1) at idle and in gear (automatic) the car suddenly acts like it is out of fuel and shudders very hard, then as soon as it happens it is ok again. Sometimes it happens only once and sometimes it happens every 6 to 10 seconds or until I give it some throttle.2) whenever I put it in park it stops happening3) sometimes when I start the car it idles very rough (while in park). this continues until I shut off the engine, sit for about 10 minutes then restart and all is well.

NOTE: These problems occur regardless of how I was just driving the car. If I am driving it hard, it happens when I slow down, but it also happens if I am being gentle with it and I come to a stop. It also happens whether the AC unit is on or off. It happens in the rain and when it is completely dry.

Any ideas?

Welcome to NICO. Hopefully we'll be able to help you get this figured out.

First off, let's establish some facts.. Can you relist that link to the G35 forum thread... links not working for me?

What led to the issues? Why did you have that fuel hose replaced?

So what the dealership is saying is that there is a problem getting enough fuel to the 3 cylinders on the driver side of the engine? Have you tried installing a fuel pressure gauge on each side to compare fuel pressure?

Do you have any fuel leaking onto the ground from an improper hose install?

Let's start with the basics and then we'll see what we can figure out... First off... can you retell or relink that story so we have more info.

Thanks
