Installed a walbro pump in the 240 this week, got a megan racing (probably my problem right there) fpr. Installed everything and noticed the pressure bouncing in a consistent pattern between 20 and 50 psi. Put a better secured and shorter vacuum line on thinking maybe the one i had on there currently was leaking. Voila, car smooths out steady 30 or so psi, great. Shut off the car and go to bed. I go to start the car this morning and its running shotty as ever, fuel pump sounds like its spitting air bubbles. Pressure reads around 70psi (didnt adjust the pressure from before so i have no idea), i pull off the vac line and get sprayed in the face with fuel.

Bad fpr?

Id say that its bad. I've seem them do excactly that and other weired things when they go bad. I only trust tomei or aeromotive fprs (they are basically the same). Even nismo fprs are garbage. I've had to put a rubber o-ring in a nismo where the locking nut sinches down because of a vacuum leak right there.

Thanks for the reply, yea i've been looking into the aeromotive one now. Also the fuel line included in the Megan kit ruptured at 30psi spraying fuel everywhere and all over me... never buying that junk again.

Can anyone absolutely confirm that Isis and aeromotive's FPR's are the same? reason I ask is I've had both in my hands and couldn't tell the difference.

^ I'd like to know this too, any reason for getting an aeromotive vs the isis?

I'd be careful with that wording. A bad FPR can cause serious issues and possibly damage an engine. I doubt ISIS will cover any more then the FPR itself.
