And a year later I'm still working on this thing. Right now I'm trying to figure out why I have Fuel in my intake. I removed the black connecting tube that goes to both sides of the intake and it smells of fuel when its running and there is wetness inside the intake. Just pulled the plugs and they are dry like they should be. I believe all the vaccum lines are on correct. What could cause this. Thanks

Jeff

No, i haven't tried running it without the balance tube. I've also having issues with the pass side center cyl. I pull the coil plug and it doesn't effect teh way it runs. It also has new injectors in it. But i would run it and had a strong odor of gas, so I removed the balance tube and noticed gas sitting in the bottom of the intake.

Tried putting in my spare PTU and CAS and the same thing happens. I've tested coil incoming power with the cas removed and spinning it by hand and 10 to 11 volts coming out which matches the others. The injector ohms good (12.6) the power coming to the inj matches the others at 10 to 11 volts. now, I'm thinking this is a local problem. by that I mean it has to be something to do with that cyl. My inj plugs are corroded but I've cleaned them the best I could more than once. I'm half tempted to replace the connector to see if it changes. I'm lost so I don't know what else to do.

Ok, So I do a compression test. I'm using a brand new tester cause mine broke. #1- 91/168 #2- 91/171 #3- 99/166 #4- 110/165 #5- 82/185 #6- 167

The first number was the first time, once number 4 jumped up to 110 I went back and all the numbers were higher??? I don't know if it was just the new tester or what. Is that indicative of user error or worn engine?

Ok, so I ran the car for about 4 plus minutes and fuel is now dumping into the exhaust and leaking out various places along the pass side exhaust. I'm assuming that injector is not working correctly and just filling the cyl with gas and then pushing it out the exhaust? Does this make the most sence?

Hope you have a big fire extinguisher handy. Sounds like it's time to pull the plenum to replace injector/fuel rail o-rings.
