i installed a new pump in my car and it runs with no problems now , the old one burnt out , but i've had this issue before the new pump install is where i know i have a full tank of gas cause i replaced the pump with the full tank insde it but my needle fluctuations from 3/4 of a tank then it just slowly drops down to empty and evern beyond that and then slowly rises back up and then back down....i really need this fixed cause im not trying to starve my car of fuel and blow another pump and be stranded on the side of the road ...anyone have an idea ?

Fuel level sender - you know the float on the side of the pump you just installed. Either it is bad, wiring to it is funny, or you installed it messed up.
