My fuel gauge has been reading just above 3/4 full after I fill it to overflowing at the gas station these past 6 months or so. Obviously I know the tank is full but it reads as though it isn't. Not a big deal but wanted to hear if anyone else has had similar problem. My car is an '03 G35 sedan with 100,000 miles. Exspensive fix? Thanks.

Welcome to NICO!

Most likely the fuel sending unit. Not sure on the cost, but it's not a hard job to replace to save $$.

its rare that a sender goes bad. There are 2 of them, however, as the FM cars use a saddle type fuel tank. If they have been removed before, a float may have been caught up in a wire or something. They cost about $120 each.
