Fuel gauge, speedometer and tach problems

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

We have a 03 Sentra. Just this week the fuel gauge, speedometer and tach will periodically quit working all at the same time then start working again. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if so how did you fix it? I briefly looked at the fuses but was not sure which fuse went to these instruments. It almost appears to me that an electircal connection is loose, but it seems strange all three gauges are on the same circuit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome, Michael!

Please provide me with what type of Sentra. I would agree that it is sometype of e electrical issues, but each model has their own gremlins. So it is important to know what type of Sentra we are talking about.

Red Det,

Thank you for replying to my message. The Sentra is a 2003, 4door, GXE, 1.8 liter, 5speed trans.

Any help is much appreciated.

Michael

Fuses are a good start. I think your owners manual or the panel itself should explain what's what.

There's a link in my sig for the FSM in case the manual doesn't have the info.
