Alright i just did my swap and for some reason the stock fuel gauge is acting up. it fluctuates all the time as much as maybe an 1/8 of a tank. when fuel is low (needle under the E line), the gas warning light doesn't come on. did the swap have anything to do with this? also when i take the rpm's really high, the gas level drops and comes back up. btw, i dont have the fuel line from the carbon canister blocked off yet.

alright, it just seems as if the gauge is off and needs to be re-calibrated. When i fill it up, the needle stays a tad from the full line and when im close to empty, the needle dips about a mm under the empty line. the gas light comes on only after the needle dips about 2 mm under the E line. can anyone help me fix this?

i have a fuel gauge issue too. it might be a bad sender (equipment in the tank that tells the gauge how high the fuel level is) or gunk in the tank...who knows. as long as you keep up w/ fill-ups theres no need to worry

i also have gauge issues that started when i swapped.. Somehow my headunit got shorted during the swap so i figured the two were related.. but now i wonder.

do you have a one wire sending unit? if so, ground the one wire and see if it goes full or empty. if it does one of those(i forget which) your good for the gauge side and its in the sending unit.
