Fuel Gauge Problem - 2003 Infiniti M45

I have a 2003 M45 with 46000 miles. I noticed a fuel gauge problem about 3 tanks back. Like other posts, it records about half a tank when almost empty. Out of warranty and closest dealer is 150 miles away.

Any suggestions ...

Welcome to NICO, but, yikes, please turn your caps lock key off (I have edited the post for now). At our site, all caps means that you are SHOUTING, and it does not appear that you want to do that!

In terms of the specific problem you have, there are some posts here about what needs to be done to fix it ... if you are out of warranty, then there is a cost, of course! You can purchase OEM Infiniti parts from http://www.everythinginfiniti.com for less than from Infiniti dealers. Then a local tech near where you live can do the work ...

EDIT: And please do give Infiniti Corporate a call ... this all sounds like a common problem to these model years that they should fix. Even if the car is out of warranty!
