Fuel Gauge Not Working

95 240sx - Had hose changed on fuel pump and now gauge doesn't work anymore. The person that changed the hose re-checked the float and it is set correctly. Car had been sitting for about two years prior and the fuel pump is brand new.

sounds like you need a fuel level sending unit. If it was sitting for that long the contacts on the sending unit could have corroded.

It might be possible to clean those, likely easier to replace. Until then, fill up each time and reset your trip odometer. Get gas at 280 mile intervals to be safe.
