About a week ago my girl noticed that her fuel gauge was stuck on full on her 95 240sx. I took it to our mechenic and he opened the fuel plate and had a look inside. It was kind of rushed but he could not see a traditional float sensor. I was wondering if they used some other method and if anyone knows of a little floating box that is only connected by two wires.

Probably won't help, but have you tried just tapping at the gauge with your finger? The temp gauge on my car likes to stick until i give it a good whack sometimes.Worth a shot anyway...long shot...

Dude! she never has to buy gas again! you lucky bastard:D My Silvia and Skyline use float type sensors, the 240 must. You will have to carefully pull the pump out to see it, it kind of hangs off to the side so you have to manouver it out.
