Hi everyone, sometimes my fuel gauge needle drops ALL the way to the bottom far below E, when the fuel is low, somtiems it bounces back up agian. i think the harness may be loose, similiar to the speedometer problems that others report. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem in the past, and whether it was taken care of by just checking the connections on the harness. and the harness should be somewhere in the trunk right?

Yes, the harness is in the trunk. If you open from the rear, lift up the carpeting and you'll see it on the right side of the trunk. I think you may need a new unit inside the gas tank.

Probably a worn spot on the sender--voltage drops to 0. Spend a lot of time with the tank empty?
