Fuel gauge doesn't read fullt

07 SE R in the car in question here...

Noticed this the other day. Fill her up and it'll start up showing 3 bars from the top. After a short while, maybe a minute or two, it'll go up to 1 bar from the top. It never goes all the way up. Also, the first time I noticed this problem it was when the gauge was stuck at 3 bars from the top for a long time.

Car's going in weds for the 2nd look at the steering noise so I called them and told them to add this to the list. Hopefully it'll be the last problems for a while.

damn dude it sucks that you are having problems with your car. when did you buy it and how many miles are on it already. the fuel gage things sounds like a small glitch i'm sure they'll fix that. what's going on with the steering noise?

Steering noise is still to be looked at. Was suppose to be last week but then the head mechanic, who was suppose to try and find the cause, his wife got sick so they pushed it back to this Wednesday.

It's a 07 SE R got it August. Got just under 3000 km on it so really it's almost brand new. Some people say the fuel gauge gets confused if you fill up with the tank mostly full. Maybe that's it but I'll tell them about the situation anyhow to see if they can figure it out.

weird for a 07, leave it at the dealer "till they fix it

Parts came in so it's being fixed on Wednesday. It doesn't happen all the time just sometimes it does.

The car was new when I got it just 200 km on it cause they though they'd drive it from the dealer they got it from, and then they drove it to get tinting done. Didn't tell me about that plan I thought they were going to ship it on one of those trucks but they drove it. At least it didn't came from Quebec by someone driving it as that would have put like 600 700 km on that car, the car had a french Manual in it when I got it.
