fuel gage problem

Ok i want to first thamnk every one for helping me in the past finally got car running over the week end.

Heres my question after changing fuel pump my needle for the gage or gauge stop working.I know there is the sending unit in the tank(big yellow tube like thing) not sure if that is the problem or not my gauge stays all the way down.Is there a sertin spot for that thing in the tank or u jus put it in there.Also can this be a relay problem=.If any one can help id love it hat not nowing the fuel.THx

the sending unit hangs from the same bracket your fuel pump hangs from. The difference is your fuel pump slides on from the top and the fuel level sender slides in with a sideways motion. Thats why drifting or hard turns makes the damn thing fall off and your gauge doesnt work anymore. Mine fell off twice and I just dont fix it anymore. Use the odometer, kawasaki style.
