Well, I've searched quite a bit but can't find any info on upgrading the KA24E fuel system for a modest N/A build.

I'm planning a Nismo R4 cam + header/exhaust + emanage tune.

So, for about 175HP I'm wondering if I should upgrade any of my fuel system components.

What do you think?

For anything below 200+ HP, there is no need to upgrade the fuel system. You do need to improve your fuel quality (octane) to 93 if you're planning to tune your timing for performance.

I'll be running high octane - just wondering if my duty cycle will be too high on the stock injectors at 175 - 180 HP or so.

You do need to upgrade the fuel system before 200hp. The injectors actually start maxing out around 180. You can actually increase your fueling ability without changing injectors by upping the fuel pressure though. A lot cheaper, especially if you only need a small boost.

However if you run ITB's you will need an adjustable FPR to keep the stock injectors. You lose vacuum with a short runner intake mani, and subsequently fuel pressure. I finally figured this out after wondering why my duty cycles were in the 95% area making 155rwhp on stock injectors.

I'v got no plans for ITB. However, I will be running an Emanage.

The guy told me I would need to add fuel with the R4 cam but said 20HP is realistic from this cam with proper tune.

This plus header/exhaust might put me into the 175HP range which I'm afriad might max out my stock injectors.

Increasing fuel pressure sound like a possible fix but how will I know where I'm at as far as tuning is concerned?

I don't want to get into expensive dyno time so I plan on tuning via small < 5% changes here and there. I guess I could figure in fuel pressure increase but I don't know if that's kosher.

Let me know how those ITBs turn out.

you guys think maybe he should get a walbro fuel pump? idk i was just thinking. and he could tune it with his emanage.
