if you cant figure this one out on your own...maybe you should have it done.

here ill do a write up real quick.

step one. locate filter on the passenger side strut tower, its that little cylindrical thing with two rubber fuel hoses running too it.

step two. remove both hose clamps with slip joint pliers

step three. remove both hoses off the filter

step four. remove filter and throw away

step five. take new filter and make sure the arrow is pointing up

step six. put hoses back on

step seven. reinstall hose clamps

step eight. stand back and feel retarded that you couldnt figure this out on your own

You should 100% do it this way!\/\/\/Step 1: Buy a 1990 300zxtt fuel filter. Step 2: Download a FSM. Step 3: Read FSM. Step 4: Replace fuel filter.

OrRelieve fuel pressure, Wrap a rag around the fuel filter to catch any spilled gas, Un-screw top and bottom fuel hose clamps, pull out old filter, install new filter on fuel line, tighten clamps and done.

If you spill gas anywhere, spray some watter in that area so you don't catch your car on fire.

Thanks for the help. The rubber hoses need to be replaced. Would Napa or Autozone know what grade rubber hose I need if I told them what they're going to be used for?
