It's in the tank. The only time it needs replacing is if the fuel pump goes.

Thank you for your help! Does it need to be flushed or anything? I had an individual that changed my oil tell me yesterday that the fuel system needed to be flushed every 30K miles. I referenced my owners manual/service guide & saw nothing that indicated any type of anything needing to be done to the fuel system.

he's looking to take your money. the fuel system does not need to be flushed unless some one put sugar in your gas tank (in which case you would be really screwed). the throttle body are not supposed to be cleaned either. and fuel injection services have minimal improvements.

every 30k you should replace the fluids and filters (replace air filter as needed between intervals) and the cabin filter should be replaced every 1 year of 15k. dont forget tire rotaions and balancing every 6 monthes to extend their life.

yea, he's looking to take your $...

but i know over time that throttle bodies would get gunked up...it did on my 89 240sx

there's this can of CRC's throttlebody intake cleaner that 'll have the quick evaporation of brakeclean and less corrosive than carb cleaner.
