I have looked and searched, and I cant find anything on it? I looked in the FSM. Can some one give me direction on where the Fuel Filter is on this car? My car is bucking and shutting off, I am going to check/replace the MAF and the Fuel pump (it is humming in the trunk). Fuel pump should run practically silent right? The car starts to buck at around 45mph+ when I push the accelerator to speed up. After searching this is the solution I have came up with. Am I going in the right Direction.

Its $259.66 from Infiniti Of Scottsdale right now (04/25/2010). You need to worry about the Fuel Pump Control Unit as well as the fuel filter and pump. A old fuel pump will draw too much electricity killing the ground in the Fuel Pump Control Unit. You can have 3Q Jay fix it (He claims its better than new and I believe him) Or you can do it yourself, Basic Soldering skills are required at least/

Instead of buying several hundred dollars in parts why not spend ~$15 on a fuel pressure gauge. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FUEL-INJ ... 58877f6236) I don't know this product but instead of loading the proverbial parts shot gun. Take a dive into the EC section of your copy of the Service Manual. A Q is a great project but guessing gets expensive quick, plus nothing is more frustrating than installing something and finding out the problem is still there.

I've done this before, in epic fashion. We all guess at times but testing is really the way to go.

You might want to look into getting a multimeter if you don't already have one...you should be needing it if you want to do this right.

I don't think he has ever advertised on NICO but he told me through email. Here is a link to his profile where you can send him a PM: 3q-jay-u16163.html
