Is it just me or are these things a ***** to pull off? Im using wd40 on the hoses, letting it soak in for 10 min, and the hose is still on super tight. What else can i do? Ive pulled as hard as i could without feeling like im gonna tear the hose apart

Hee hee hee, yeah they're a pain in the butt to get off. What you could do is to undo and move away the hose clamps, on both ends, then twist the fuel filter while holding the fuel line firmly. The only other option that I can think of is replacing the fuel line after you cut it with a vertical slit until you cut through the fibers on the inside of the hose.. I changed out all my fuel lines today since most of them were getting brittle and beginning to leak fuel. The stuff to get is the stuff made for higher pressure fuel injected systems. I used Gates high pressure 5/16" fuel hoses to finish up all the fuel lines on my car. Hope that helps.

TIP: Use brakleen [green can at the parts store] spray that at the lip of the hose work the filter back and forth to help it penetrate into the seal. It will slide right off.

All else fails cut the bastards off. That what I did when I removed my KA for the swap. You can get hoses at any autoparts store. Cut a slit and then work em off.

Thanks alot guys, I tried cutting it, but that didnt work, so I undid the other end of the hose and it came right off. Only thing was that the hose was useless, so I got a new one, which didnt fit the hose clamps, heh, had to buy some of those as well.

My hoses were tough as well, but the twisting method worked for me.. And i replaced the fuel filter with a 300zx.. all i can say is sweet :) .. of course my stock filter was clogged horribly.. fuel would barely leak through.. not good for performance at all lol..
