it helps if you twist and pull at the same time.

Get a shop rag... wrap it around the hose right at the nipple. Use a pair of channel-lock pliars or vise-grips over the rag, and twist that biotch as you pull it off. It WILL come off eventually, just be careful not to rip the hose (hence the shop rag over it). Don't worry about crushing the nipple, because I assume you're putting in a new filter. Also, point it away from yourself... gas can fly pretty far and get in your eyes (Trust me on that one... had it happen when doing this to my truck)

yes...gas flying into your eyes sucks...well what I did was I took a small screwdriver and started to push up at the mouth of the hose using the edge of the fuel filter as a fulcrum. Did that all around with the hose clamp taken completely off and while doing that twist and pull. Just gotta put your back into it!

This is why you remove the fuel pressure before doing this :D

But I didn't bother when I did mine hehehe.

Well... I removed the fuel pump fuse and turned it over until it was out of gas. I don't think it was the fuel pressure so much as the violent way in which I reefed that sucker off!:D

When I did mine I took the fuse out, tried to turn it over and took the gas cap off. Very little gas came out, so no gas flying for me. I took a regular screwdriver and pried on the hose a little bit, then just twisted and pulled until it came off. The rag and pliers sounds like a good idea too though.
