I have replaced the spark plugs, I have done a full tune up, replaced tensioner rods, and fuel filter. (Tensioner rods are unrelated but I still just did them.) I've also replaced the left back 02 sensor.
After I replaced the fuel filter and started the car back up, the "ticking" that I had mentioned before was suddenly "clicking", and it's really damned loud. Am I looking at a misfire or a bad injector?
Fuel economy is still... horrifyingly bad

forgive me if you posted the answer before but any chance you have a knock sensor code ??It will not give you a check engine light.

What's the ticking noise? Does it do that when you accelerate? I have the same thing, and it only goes away when I'm coasting. The Valve solenoids are known to tick pretty loud with Age on this engine.
