Hey Guys,

Just wondering what everyone is getting for MPG in their 5th Gens?

I'm getting about 7 km/L which is about 16.5 MPG or 440 km (275 Miles) per tank.

This is WAY up from the 12mpg that I was getting when I first bought the car last winter. I guess it's a thank-you to the mods (Intake & Exhaust + Seafoam & Deep-Creep).

I do about 85% City driving, and don't race. I do drive the car a little hard every now & then, and have a bit of a heavy foot, but I hear guys getting upwards of 30MPG??

Are there any generic sensors etc. that go and cause bad fuel economy, or should I expect the ~16.5MPG for the luxury & driving pleasure that I get with the Max?

16 is definitely low. Way low.Knock sensor could cause poor fuel milage.

16 is still very low. The only time I've seen close to that on my I30 was when I did a lot of short trips (~1-2 miles). Normally in mixed driving I get 25-26mpg and in all highway I driving I see between 28-30mpg with the cruise set at 75.
