Fuel Econmy display

I dont get this display this is what it reads on my screen on my 04 murano

AVG:L:100 Km 9.7 This use to say 14.0 but i was holding the button down it reset.

DTE:Km: 562 This number seems very high befor it use to be lower

When you reset it, it starts your average fuel economy over from that point on, so it should read a different number. Is that what you were asking?

If i over filled the tank would the reading be off or messed up?

Just a side note: Don't overfill your tank! Fuel will back up into the evaporation recovery system and you'll get a "check engine light".

When re-fueling I just give the fuel fill handle only one additional quick squeeze after the gas pump clicks off on a full tank.
