fuel door (spring?)

Can anyone show me what the inside of a fuel door on an R50 looks like?

My fuel door is having trouble opening. I see there are springs for the door for sale on eBay, but I'm not sure whether or not my door already has the spring.

Either I need a spring, or I already have one and the problem resides elsewhere, such as the rubber bumpers having lost their tension, or the door itself somehow being out of alignment.
