Fuel Door Access???

It seems the small pin assembly that locks my fuel door is broke....and i cant close it now. Does anyone have any instructions or tips that might help me get a better look at this unit...i tried taking off the inside panel, but didnt get real far. Any advice would be good. Im a newbie, i just purchased this car 93 240sx se hatchback. I am excited about all the mods that are available...and will be asking more advice in the future....but for now please help a brotha out!! :help

If the release cable is still there and if it's not broken then all you need is the plastic lock nut. Go to your local nissan dealer and have them order it for you. It's only $1 plus whatever they charge for shipping.

i have the same problem and i am just waiting for the nut to get to the dealership.

Same problem here too. The nut seems to be okbut the assembly that should somehow attach to the piece the nut screws on isn't attached anymore!

I've been reaching thru the little access door inside the right rear hatch nad holding the cable and plastic nub forward while reaching around the outside and closing the door.

I'm not sure what i need to buy to fix it ... but it's mootpoint as my 89 hatchback just had a sudden loss of coolant and is offline
