Well, my car idles fine pulling -17Hg. The oil somewhat smells like fuel. Does running way too rich cause something like this? My motor was rebuilt and has very little blow-by. My fuel rail and injectors do not seem to be leaking (take fuel rail off, pointing upwards and turn key ign on for fuel pressure).

Also, my car will feel as if it hits a rev limit or missfire when it hits around 5psi and higher. To add to this scenario, during a run through 1st gear and 2nd up to about 4k rpm (hitting up to 5psi and stuttering), my fuel gauge will drop all the way down to an inch below E~!

Oh yeah, my oxygen sensor isn't hooked up yet. The car has never done this before. When I have finally put it on the ground and test drove it with new oil change etc after the swap, it ran fine, no miss or anything. Even the fuel gauge stayed steady (not drop to the black abyss). After Day 1 of driving it around (about 3 total hours of driving), it began the missing thing along with oil smelling like fuel (not too strong but still). My plugs are probably fouled from driving rich with no oxygen sensor, but could excessive rich also cause my oil to become fuel contaminated by a little normal blow-by?

I have a new/used fuel rail with injectors coming in from Tokyo just in case my fuel is leaking in at higher fuel pressures. Also, I have an oxygen sensor coming in.

My car is a 95' SE with S13 Blacktop SR. My mods are Greddy valve springs, Greddy FMIC, Spec Stage II clutch, and the rest is stock.

Ok. I dont know. BUT The fact that the fuel gague drops off like that suggests to me that there is a problem with the fuel sending unit.

Perhaps it is shorting/grounding out.. your pump kicks off for a split second and you lose the signal to the gague?

Just a thought, maybe point you in the right direction or get someone else thinking.

If there was anything fuel related grounding out, there would be a fuse blowing for sure. The fuel gauge problem isn't much of my worries right now, it is the fuel in oil and the stutter. I will check my plugs tomorrow and see how they look.

I have gone over my pipes many times (taken it off and put back on). I have checked all vac hoses etc. I checked my plugs today and seems that they are very very normal (golden/tan). That means the fuel isn't getting into my oil while it is running, but when it is just turned off. The boost problem could be either my oil being contaminated causing stumbles or my FPR/injectors combo. More info to come soon when my fuel rail and injectors come in.
