So here's my story. I recently got my wideband setup goin, and I had to weld a bung in my downpipe, no biggie, well I was doing it late at night after work and I forgot to hook my oxygen sensor back in (the one that sends signal to the ECU not the wideband unit). I drove it for a day with absolutely no problem, so obviously I didn't notice the sensor, well the next day it started cutting fuel (which is pretty violent, the whole car bucks and kicks) as I was driving, usually low throttle (below 20%) and low rpm (3000 or so). Anyway I got it to where I was goin and found that and put it back together and figured after a little while it'd be ok. Well it wasn't, I found that the timing was off, so I fixed that and that took care of it for about two days, now it's doing it again. The spark plugs are brand new maybe 10 days old, has plenty of gas, I don't have a fuel pressure gauge, but I can hear the fuel pump turning on and have never heard it faulter, but I don't know if that means anything at all, and the CAS is new maybe 1000 miles and I'm running the upper timing cover, I can hear the injectors clicking away when it's idling and I can get my head down there, I rigged pretty badly a intercooler piping tester and I have no huge leaks at least, when I get my fuel filter I'll pick up the stuff to finish that. I haven't gotten around to putting a new fuel filter in it, even though I know it's easy. So now I'm wondering if any of you have ever had this happen or give me some suggestions to figure this out, I want my car back, and now it's at my girlfriends house cause that's as far I as I wanted to drive it becuase I got stuck in the middle of intersections on the way here. and I'd rather not get stuck there in the dark by myself. I know my post is long, but I figured I'd get it all out of the way. Thanks.

Usually the MAF is acting up if the car is stumbling at 2500-3500 rpm. Check the wiring etc.

I just replaced it with a maxima MAF, it ran just fine till the O2 sensor problem, and I can rev it past 3k, it just has a hard time right around there, it actually doesn't sputter/cut fuel once I am boosting, too bad I can't boost and go even close to the speed limit. I'll check it in the morning when it's light, I just went and replaced the fuel filter. We'll see if that helps.

If you ran the car with the 02 sensor unplugged it could be fouled out, causing the car to give you the wrong a/f ratio when its using o2 feedback.
