Weirdest thing in the world and also the most frustrating is that My 240 will cut fuel off at certain points. In 3rd gear it cuts at 5800 rpm, in4th gear it cuts at 4050 and fifth it cuts at 3600. This problem is totally ridiculious. This gives me a top speed of around 75mph, totally bogus and it is hard to miss. On 4th and 5th when it cuts the fuel wont kick back in until the tach drops below 3100 rpm. I literally go for 20 seconds with no fuel. I had the h.u.d problem that everyone has had, but found out it was just loose wires so it is fixed, but the fuel cutoff still exists.

I have a new fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, everything that I thing would affect this. 1st and 2nd go to redline, can anyone please help me

By the way we rock the cars are great. Today I beat a 97 turbo eclipse.........until........my fuel cutout and the ******* thought he went home with my girl. So bogus/

one of the sensors i know if is on the transmission, it's a blue wire w/ all kinda colors of dots and line on it ;) from what i understand, this wire will limit your 5th gear so that it will not rev pass 5k rpm. So maybe this is the sensor you are struggling with
