So were you speeding or did your fuel pump just cut out? If you were speeding I hope it wasn't on public roads

So you were speeding

jk, but in all seriousness, did you have enough gas in the tank? If it bogged up hill, you might have a fuel pick up problem

It could be, I have my own fuel pump problems to deal with too. Chances are I'll be replacing it with a 255 as wel

Lol should have worded this thread differnt. Now everyone thinks that you were going 110. But anyway throw a inline fuel pressure gauge on it and monitor your fuel pressure, should be 36-40psi with a good pump.

That was the next thing I was gonna say. If fuel pressure is good, maybe you have an ignition miss. Maybe a bad ground somewhere.

Hmm well i am bringing it to a local shop tomorrow for further inspection, hopefully it is just the fuel pump not giving enough gas to the engine at higher rpms but who knows

I know the KA is different from the Sr, but I had the same problem. Turns out I had some bad grounds, I fixed them, and had no problem since but good luck.

Is your speedo working? It could trick the ECU into hitting the speed limiter.

Could be the ECU itself.

Speed sensor.

And probably some other things I can't think about off the top of my head.

Speedo and rpms works and fuel n temp both work... idk it was really random tho because yesterday car ran fine then today this happens. weird. but hopefully its not my ECU i really hope its just my fuel pump just cant keep up anymore, it is stock and im pretty sure its still the original so it has 170k miles on it.
