So were you speeding or did your fuel pump just cut out? If you were speeding I hope it wasn't on public roadslilRillo wrote:Hit fuel cut for the first time today kind of a bumber...oh well im pretty sure its my s***ty stock fuel pump if finally gave out on me, time for a wallbro 255
So you were speedinglilRillo wrote:Wasnt speeding at all was going up a mountain in my town and then i started to bog at higher rpms then i went to my lot and did a second gear 40 roll and BAM bogged at 5k rpms when it shoulda been 7k
Did it only cut out going up hill?lilRillo wrote:yeah man had a quarter of a tank and ive been close to E before and never hit fuel cut
It could be, I have my own fuel pump problems to deal with too. Chances are I'll be replacing it with a 255 as wellilRillo wrote:lol i just hope thats all it is tho my sh*t stock fuel pump finally giving up after 900 miles of my SR hahah
That was the next thing I was gonna say. If fuel pressure is good, maybe you have an ignition miss. Maybe a bad ground somewhere.nissans13240sx wrote:Lol should have worded this thread differnt. Now everyone thinks that you were going 110. But anyway throw a inline fuel pressure gauge on it and monitor your fuel pressure, should be 36-40psi with a good pump.
I know the KA is different from the Sr, but I had the same problem. Turns out I had some bad grounds, I fixed them, and had no problem since but good luck.lilRillo wrote:Hmm well i am bringing it to a local shop tomorrow for further inspection, hopefully it is just the fuel pump not giving enough gas to the engine at higher rpms but who knows
Damn, that's gonna be nice.lilRillo wrote:Yeah that could be the prob too idk ill have them check it all out but i still wanna get the wallbro 255 and a tune 18 lbs of boost!
