fuel cut at 5000rpm

I did search for this and came up with nothing.

Anyway, i drove my car like I normaly do today and went up to redline just for fun (6500) 1 hour later i down shifted to pass this one guy and hit a nasty fuel cut/limit at 5000 rpm.Right now it still wont let me get past 5000 rpms. Any help is appreciated on what the problem could be. Going to check ecu codes when i get back from work.

I've got the same problem. Checked fuel pressure, regulator, and changed filter, even checked all vacuum lines and still nothing. It's driving me crazy so if you figure it ou pleas let me know.
