Let's settle this once for all...1. Best Fuel Controller PERIOD (no $ limit)2. Best Fuel Controller for money (value)3. Best Fuel Controller when you are broke (if that kind of thing exists)

1. Standalone Ecu...ie. Electromotive TecII, TecII...Haltech...MSD...SDS...etc etc.

2. Apexi S-AFC or Greddy E-Manage (depending one what your looking for) both around $300.

3. See #2.

I would not include the SDS as a quality stand alone.

Tec II, Haltech, Motec, those are quality. The Motec is probably the "best" period, but its also a ton of money : )

Someone told me that it was possible to use the Safc to convert from MAF to MAP, does anyone know if this is true? Also, does it allow for any timing modification, or is it strictly fuel? What info does it give and monitor?

For Piggy-Back, I like the HKS-Super AFR. Not as wildly popular as the Got Rice? Blue Screen Apex'i, but more functions and points of adjustability, and $100 cheaper from our pals at Underground Motorsports.

You indicate it has more functionality, but how? Is it more points for control, does it allow for timing control, does it allow for MAF to MAP conversion? Also, if you could provide a link to the group are talking about, I would like to know.

Well the date did jump from 08-02-2002 to 06-09-2004 so he probably did search.

The AEM Engine Management System, it is the only such system that I have seen that allows for conversion to MAP, but the HKS is looking pretty good right now. Thank you.

Also, I have not seen it but will the Power FC allow for this conversion, APEXi's website is fairly limited in the amount of info it will give you outside of a PDF.

The HKS VPC also does MAFS to MAPS sensor conversion. Just getting kinda hard to find now.
