Fuel Computer doesnt work! Help!

I have a Blitz R-Fit that i know works. I have hooked it up in my friends car and it works great. However, For some reason when i hook it up in my car it doesnt read the tach signal or the maf signal. I am 100% positive it is hooked up correctly also. Any ideas as to why it would be doing that or what i could check? thanks
