92 z32 changed to new style injectors, changed O-rings and connectors also have adapter kit with o-rings. read a few post but I changed top and bottom O-rings. I DID NOT change the fuel rail to lower intake o-rings but I don't think that would have an impact on fuel in the exhaust because there is no fuel leaking from the manifold. Could it be left over from before I changed everything?

Are you talking about the smell of fuel, or actual fuel in liquid form? If it is heavy smell of fuel, open your fill cap for your oil and smell if it is heavy will fuel. If so try changing the oil and see if that helps. There should be a slight scent of fuel, just not overpowering.

I've had problems in the past with this. It's usually a faulty injector or a short in the harness. In my case it was both. It would blow a white fog out, like a blown head gasket would, but it was straight fuel.

I'm pretty sure it's fuel it starts smoking pretty good right at where the exhaust bolts up to the manifold on the passenger side.

Where was your short and where was your fuel coming from? I've got another block and heads that's been bored and new valves and I just got these injectors. I'm trying to make sure I can get everything right with old one before I put in the new one. Also it's time for a new harness as well anyone have a good one you know of?
