When i took my fuel rail off the other day to put in a diff rail with bigger injectors, when i took off the return line gas started pourin out of it and wouldnt stop. i had to plug it with a screw to stop it. this is the return line on the car, not the rail. the feed line with the fuel filter on it leaked out a bit of gas then stoped. Its been 90 degrees here for the last 2 weeks. could heat be messing with my gas tank pressurizing it causing gas to come out of the return line?

I bet you didn't de-pressurize your system before you did all that.

What he ^^ said... At least relieve the pressure and leave the gas cap removed when you're working on it.
