fuel capacity on a 95 s14

According to the manual it says 17 gallons. Now just the other day i drove the car finally until the gas light came on (since usually i just re fill when half empty) so when i went to fill it up all the way it only filled up to barely 12 gallons!! why??

Because if the gas light came on when you run out of gas it's purpose would be defeated. Well, I'm sure that there are plenty of dumbases out there that would wonder why their car died with the needle burried below the E, but still....

but my car was already dying by the timew the gas light came on!!

LOL, my fuel gauge has been kinda messed up as of late, any way, I filled 60 litres of gas just on Friday. Needle was buried on E, I believe there are 3.6 litres in every gallon, you can do the math

60 Liters = 15.85032 Gallons (US) = 13.19815 Gallons (UK)
