I have heard it is a good idea to use a fuel additive with my J30. Is that a good idea, if so is there any certain one that would be better than others?

What you current MPG's?

I would use Redline S1 available at Pepboys and ISO-Heet if you have E10 AKA Ethanol in your area.

Whats your maintenance history?

I'm not exactly sure about the maintinence history. The guy i bought the car from said, that is was his mothers and before she died she regularly took it into the dealer for maintinence. It seems to run very good. I want to say it is about 18 right now (city).

I bought the car about a month ago, no problems yet. Is there anything else you can recomend I do?

I've heard good things about the Redline fuel system product & I plan on trying it next. As for your fuel economy, 18 in the city is normal. If it was serviced by Infiniti in the past, call your local dealer (I think yours would be in Totem Lake) and they should have all the records on file.

I'm a little leery of anything that claims better mileage if you dump it into the fuel tank or crankcase. There have been many studies by Transport Canada, the US equivalent as well as private labs and publications like Consumer Reports that conclude these things don't work.

I can honestly say that the first bottle of Redline I used made a NOTICEABLE difference In throttle response and idle smoothness.

New Plugs made a noticeable difference in Mileage.I think the one's I pulled were the original !!!
