Just meet a guy from Japan with an s13 with an Sr...Jdm guy. Just like me he's having trouble finding the 240 guys in our area. They kinda stick to themselves or have a click that doesn't welcome new guys. Your cool if your buying parts but that's about it. He stated most Nissan guys are dix to new guys and I find that true compared to my domestic buddies with race cars. No question is a dumb question and they'll pull my car right in any of the buildings and help with anything. And will do the same for anybody who shares our passion for cars. SO GO AHEAD AND FLAME AWAY.LOL

I have pulled my car out of my work shop and let it sit in the sun for days so a guy I barely knew would have a place to work out of the sun so he could get his car fixed, I've towed guys home that had some sort of failure that left them stranded, helped a lot of guys by towing the non running/non drivable car they just bought back home,(for nothing more than diesel and fast food if I got hungry, I am a cheap date) I have also loaned countless people that I just met a wheel with a usable tire to they could get their car home.

Don't lump us all together, while there are a lot of shady s*** heads in the 240 community there are a lot more good people, but most of us are a little leery around new people because we have all been burned at least once by one of the shady s*** heads.

O no if all of us were alike then I never would've stopped at the express on base and try to point him in the right direction to finding some new 240 and Nissan lovers. I love all cars and anything with a motor. But I'm like a kid on xmas when I see a 240 and I'm like I drive one also..lol...he taught me in 5 mins how to correctly pronounce these jdm words for pats. But like I said it's a hit and miss because folks keep to themselves around here

Well I'm in the area, and I haven't been too impressed with the scene either.. Not to hate on anyone but there are plentiful amounts of hondas , and it seems like if you don't own one, you don't belong.. I have a 91 coupe myself and I typically keep to myself- due to the fact that when I go to the little car get togethers on the weekend , its my coupe and maybe 2 other 240's if I'm lucky.. amongst those two, neither person seemed to be a delightful character.. just my two cents but I can let you know where the meets usually are and that can get him started. Just let me know

Sounds like a Fay problem.... Or maybe they are just testing to see if you have thick skin.

If you want more 240's , try carolinanissans forum.
