Well I got the FSTB done...

Heres some quick notes to ADD to your reading on Q45.org

you need to cut about 2cm off the "ears".....

Improvement? Maybe a little, but all I gotta say is I hope pre-loading the bar a little helps... So far it was hardly worth the effort.. That will (hopefully) cahnge after it gets preloaded... I dont have a jack at my house other than the OEM one... I guess I could use 2 OEMs (one from our truck)..

Wes -

Get rid of those big tall granny tires and you'll notice a difference.

Until then, all you're doing is making the sidewalls work harder. :)

Damn kids and their high-profile tires.

Next thing you know, he's gonna have whitewalls on that thing.

Bet they have an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty.

:D

I am thinking Elwesso has the correct evaluation of his driving environment.

I know with new blues, Nismo tension rod bearings, and stock tires pumped up to 38 psi, the ride is not cushy for my car.

Well its not really like "cadlliac floating on a cloud" cushy, its a very smooth but supportive ride, IE its ultra smooth but if you go over big bumps it doesnt bounce all over...

Consequently, it handles better and rides better than our 02 GTP......

I went out and drove the Q some more, and the front end definitely feels more stable.. Its almost like its heavier, it feels more glued to the road...
