Several of you have mentioned buying a FSM off ebay. I have found two offerings and wonder if any of you have these and can offer some insight as to which is best.

the main concern I have is the sellers call them a FSM but do not say anywhere that it is a true FSM. I do not want to end up with a mitchell or Haynes type of manual.

Also the 1st link says the FSM covers 90-96 seems odd to me

the 2nd link says for 94-96 seems more realistic

Thanks

Personally, I'm not a fan of the PDF version, but some like it, so they can print the page necessary and not worry about it getting greasy/destroyed.

Check with Wes (elwesso) and he may have something to help you if a CD version is sufficient.

It has a 94 Q FSM. Its currently available, but they rotate which are avaiable every hour. I have it saved on my PC. Let me know if you need me to email/AIM it to you...

The quality of the PDF manuals varies greatly - Some are merely scanned images of the printed manual, saved in PDF format, with almost no searchability. Others are actual PDF page description files, complete with plenty of hotlinks and searchability down to one specific word - much better than a printed manual, IMO.

I've had good luck with ebay seller "just-4-less" - Although his auctions describe a wide range of vehicle years, the CD you receive only contains info for your particular year. His prices are reasonable, too - exactly 10 bucks, delivered.

Link to one of his auctions here.

Yeah, definitely check out phatg20.net Search for Q45 under the FSM section. Looks like they now have all FSM's from 94-02 for the Q45. I downloaded it a few months ago from the site. It's pretty high quality pdf and searchable. I'd definitely try that first before buying it off ebay if that's all you want.

The official Nissan and Infiniti FSM's are available here: http://www.nissantechinfo.com/infiniti/ if you have a high-speed Internet access.

For a day's access costing $20, you can download them in high-quality form (for the latest models, including hot-links in the PDF's) generated from what look like original electronic documentation. The earlier Infiniti's (I think the earliest is the 1994 Q45) are scanned though, as far as I recall.

Do remember to get all the TSB's too!

May just take you up on that. Give me a bit to try and find a hard copy. Will let you know. Thanks for the offer. Very mild Hurricaine season for you so far. Ah?
