FS5W71C transmission

1996 240SX: Are all Nissan fs5w71c transmissions the same? I'd like to take my A/T out and put in a manual, if I could use a fs5w71c from a 2wd X-Terra or pickup it would be newer, easier to find (in Alabama), and maybe not driven as hard?

i ca not verify the are the same but they should be if the xterra is a 2.4 engine as its the same engine. the differences may be in the shifter, but i would thng the internals and bell housings would be the same. if you do find the xterra trans works i have a ka 240sx shifter i can sell you (e-mail [email protected])
