I'm returning my car to stock (well, as close to stock as it can get while still having a CA) so I have a few parts for sell. This is a one off billet aluminum lightened pulley kit for the CA. Everything is in perfect condition, Ive used them for abou 1k miles with no problems at all. Includes crank pulley, ps pump pulley, water pump pulley and alternator pulley. I'm looking for 300.00 shipped for these, email me at [email protected] if your interested.

No, they are stock diameter but made from billet aluminum and weigh less than half of what the stock pulley's weigh.

ok, thats half pointless, yea the whole reduced mass thing, but, doesnt seem worth it if thats the only advantage. ah whatever, good luck with the sale.

Yeah, underdrive would be nice but no one makes them. These do make a noticable difference though. Basically the same kind of improvement a lightened flywheel makes.

i wish i could be, Im trying to pay off some bills, get some real dyno time, otherwise, id be on these. Just to have them, save some weight.

Another note though, is I know these are rare, but 300 is alot for one-off aluminum lightweight pulleys.

Also, they will not affect the motor near as much as a lightweight flywheel will either, so dont make that direct comparison.

bump for nice pullies!

I'm not saying theat they make as much of a difference as a lightened flywheel, I'm just saying they make the same kind of improvement as a lightened flywheel. Basically shaving about 12lbs of rotational mass off the engine, I was actually surprised at the difference they made when I put them on.

BTW, price is OBO to an extent, so if anyones interested, let me know.

(but right now im on a rediculous duty schedule at work, only have from 6am to 1 pm off, im @ work the rest of teh time) and im spending the rest of teh time dropping the rest of teh 4AGE out of my ae86 to do a quick rebuild and get it running again

Is that crank pulley just a solid chunk of aluminum? Or is it actually a dampening pulley? Without dampening, I would be scared...

i *would* be worried, except that im going to be using them on a fully counterbalanced crank, that is going to be machine shop balanced as well (with the rest of teh rotating assembly, flywheel, clutch and pres plate included)

unless im unclear on teh purpose of a harmonic dampener, I should be cool with it

Yeah, you should be fine with that. I was thinking more along the lines for people who were just going to throw them on an otherwise stock rotating assembly.

yeah, as much as you can balance a pressure plate? but im going to try (never heard of it, but it makes sense to do)

and just so everyone knows, i did send payment (a few days ago infact), and the transaction is done. So these are not available anymore, weve just been talking thru email, not here

They look similar however your kit doesn't have a Crank pulley which is where most of the weight to be shaved is.
