I have decided to sell my CA18DET and my s13 so I can put all my resources toward my AE86. The engine is super clean, compression tested 165-170 all the way across and it turns over smoothly by hand. I sandblasted and repainted the front cover and valve cover, the block has a fresh coat of black high temp paint and the engine has been cleaned. It comes with all the normal stuff a complete CA motorset would come with:

-complete engine

-transmission, flywheel, clutch

-complete transmission and motor wiring harnesses, ignitor, etc.

-injectors, rail (needs new injector O-rings, they cost around 10.00)

-CAS

-MAF

-coilpacks, harness

-ac compressor

-alternator, starter, accessory brackets, pulleys, etc, etc, etc, and all the other random stuff.

-it doesn't come with a ps pump(you can use a KA pump) or smic

In addition to this, I was about to drop this in my car, so all the maintenance has been carefully done as well as some minor upgrades. Heres the not so normal stuff that the motor comes with, all this stuff is already installed:

-newly replaced low mileage t25 turbo

-REAL factory Nismo Tuned ECU

-rare stock sandwich oil cooler

-larger diameter KA24 throttle body

-new PCV valve

-new Water Pump

-new Timing belt

-new oil filter

-new gaskets everywhere-pretty much everything except the head gasket

-new hoses everywhere-oil, coolant, and air

-new thermostat

-downpipe and turbo extension

-new NGK spark plugs

-new rear main seal

This engine is located right outside of Houston, TX. My asking rice is $1,900 OBO. I prefer pick up but I can arrange shipping if you want, it won't be cheap though, my guess is around 300.00 minimum. Heres some pics:

I may also consider partially trading it for AE86 parts. Feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions or offers. All serious offers will be considered. Thanks!

Why's it $2200 am I missing something here? I paid $700 for my complete low mileage motorset, what's the extras that bring it up to $2200, panels, ecu, the turbo? I'm not trying to say anything, just wondering why the price is 2200?

Its $2,200 because thats how much I have in it right now. And where the hell did you get a complete motorset for 700.00? Most people pay more than that for a CA shortblock.

I had a buyer but I think he changed his mind so the price has been lowered to $1,900.00 just for you CA guys, I need to get rid of this ASAP, I prefer not to ship but I can if necessary. Everything listed above is still included, so basically I'm losing over 500.00 straight up on this deal. I need to sell this very soon, email me with any offers. [email protected]

It's not a bad price but everyone is a cheapass/brokeass.. and even tho it includes everything to make it worth that and maybe more, people look at 'engine' and '1900' and go "I can get it cheaper elsewhere!" not thinking about whats included.

If I didn't already hve my two blown motors to work on, or if I had that much in pocket, I'd hit it up.
