I have a Redtop T25 for sale. Used on my car for about 2 months before I swapped it out for a T28. Used on stock boost, no smoking, minimal shaft play. Already clocked so just plug it up and go. $170 + ship

There is shaft play from side to side but it barely moves maybe a mm. There is no in and out play. Does not smoke or spew any oil so the seals are still good.

Guys, lateral shaft play on a non-ball bearing turbo is normal. As long as it doesn't have any axial (in and out) play, it's fine.

I haven't had it in hand, but if it's as he's describing, it's got my approval...
