Why do you need stainless steel lines?Stainless Steel Brake Lines are an extremely cost-effective way of increasing your car's braking feel and performance. From the factory, a car's brake lines are made out of rubber. Over time these rubber brake lines wear down and become weak, possibly even broken. If a brake line breaks or leaks, brake fluid begins to leak out at a very fast pace. Brake systems use brake fluid and pressure to push calipers or drums together, effectively slowing down your wheels. If you run out of fluid due to a leak or break, you will lose all braking power and the ability to safely stop your vehicle. Stainless Steel Brake Lines use a stainless steel braided sleeve with high quality stainless steel connections. Stainless steel can handle the elements and constant use, providing you a more reliable and safer braking solution.

In addition to safety and longevity, Stainless Steel Brake Lines increase your braking performance and braking responsiveness. Factory rubber brake lines expand when brake fluid is moved through them, resulting in a mushy, soft brake pedal feeling. The expansion of the rubber lines during braking also reduces the braking power sent to the calipers or drums, reducing the effective power of the brakes. Stainless Steel Brake Lines are much stronger and do not expand, resulting in maximum braking power sent to the calipers or drums.

These Stainless Steel Brake Lines are D.O.T. (Dept. of Transportation) approved and made to MVSS-1006 specifications. Many aftermarket brake lines and stainless steel brake lines are not D.O.T. approved.

Stainless Steel Brake Lines are extremely affordable and are one of the best aftermarket values out there and cost much less than OEM rubber brake lines.Below are some pictures of some Maxima lines I have in my garage right now. You can see they're factory sealed and impressive quality. They also come with all the necessary hardware:

Just a quick question: in general will stainless lines put any more strain on a master cylinder or brake booster?

Absolutely not. If anything it puts less stress on the master cylinder and booster. Rubber stretches and expands making the master cylinder work harder to deliver the same amount of fluid to the piston in the caliper.

The difference is negligible though, but to answer you question again, NO it absolutely doesn't have any negative effects on the rest of the braking components!!!

Great, thanks for the reply! Too bad I can't get the ATE super blue fluid locally, or I'd be doing this sooner(just waiting on an excuse to order something else from a vendor who supplies it).

Are you capable of doing custom conversion lines BTW? ie for folks who have 240sx to 300zx caliper swaps.

Cheers,Jamie

Yes, you can see above that we offer Z32 upgrade lines (it's in paranthesis before S13/S14). It's the same price.
