Waz up!!! Long time no post but sadly I am parting out my car and this is one of the first things that need to go.

I have a pair of HKS 256 cams for the CA18DET. They are in good working order and clean. I paid way too much on ebay about a year ago ($410) but I really wanted them. I would like to get $300 for these but I am very flexable on the price.

Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please email me at [email protected]

Thanks again,Chris

$400 bucks for a set of cam on ebay is not really that at all. Just try finding CA18DET cams period. At least if you paid someone $400 to grind you a set, you get the cams you want as opposed to settling for whatever is available. I think between my two CA engines and the cams I have in my garage, I have all the cams I'll ever for need for moderate street use, moderate track use, and end extreme track use. Cams range from a 264 with an 8.5mm lift to a 276 with an 11.5mm lift. Finding name brand cams is going to be hard and expensive, so it may even be wise to find a cam grinder of your choice and put in your order.

What did your butt-o-meter tell you about these cams? Much difference?

If they were 264's, you'd have a deal. As it is, for a little more than that price, I can have my spare set re-ground.

Regardless, BUMP for a great deal on a GREAT set of cams!

I am still fighting with myself over these. They are not that much bigger than the stockers I have a feeling that without upgrading the turbo and my entire setup the only way to get more power out of its current state are cams, but are this cams going to be enough to be worth the money on them? Hmm. If i hear that they make a noticable differrence or can find a dyno graph of 256ers i have the $$$ to purchase.

sorry i know i don't know much about cams and the like but i'm under the assumption that these cams will otherwise work with the stock valve train. correct? i don't need any solid lifters or stuff like that do i? cause i'll buy right now =)
