i will advice to avoid this material. It will shorten the life span of your radiator becasue it will alter in small ways, the heat tranfer characteristics of your radiator. So, if your radiator was expected to last 10 years, be sure to expect 7 years from it. This material will reduce the heat transfer coefficient of your radiator.

That makes no sense at all... The CF shroud doesn't sit on top of your radiator. It oem bolts holes line it up on the gap between your bumper and your... wait a minute you don't make any sense at all! How the hell is that anything to even think about making a claim about. If CF was so dangerous why is it used for hoods? As I seem to recal V35 hoods sit really close to their engine bays/radiators.

Provide unbiased proof before making such wild allegations. "This material will reduce the heat transfer coefficient of your radiator." Sinse metal transfers heat more effectively maybe everyone should throw away their metalic radiator shrouds too... Don't post here anymore. I hate using this word but you're a NOOB.

Use whatever words pleases you. Your radiator was designed for maximum air flow and efficiency. That airflow took into account, the contours of your hood and all the lines of your hood. Adding a material that can change the path of airflow directly in front of the hood, and if that material can absorb water and dust, and get baked by heat, will affect your radiators heat transfer. Evebn small amount of dusts that accumulate on your radiators heat transfer surface and dust and dsand that bakes on the body of the motor, makes is harder for the car to cool internal components. I won't advice anyone to obstruct in anyway, form, or fashion the air flow to their radiator, no matter how small that flow obstruction might seem.

Wow I hope nobody decides to drive their carbon Fiber parts around in the rain or sun seeing as how bad they are for the engine dust accumulation.... I always thought Radiator shrouds were meant to direct more airflow INTO the radiator but hey I'm just a dumb tuner. Thanks Jacko for that glimpse into your mind.

AAAAAnyway. The radiator shroud is still for sale for those of you who know how it works... These things sell for over 160 online so if you want it or know someone who wants it let me know! thanks.

Now I have to go and write a letter to ARC japan and tell them to halt ALL radiator shroud production due to improper heat distribution.
