Hey guys, due to a few things, Im going to have to end my project in its tracks. The biggest thing as im sure most of you can relate is the finances. More money has been going in than im really able to spend these days, and I can not afford to keep going right now.

The car is still not 100% but it does run very well and drive pretty decent. There is still a slight issue with the headgasket seeping between 2 and 3 cyl on exhaust side but that is going to hopefully be fixed this coming week.

[EDIT: 3/23/08] Not going to remove this BUT the head gasket issue has been resolved!

The car was being prepped for drag racing so it currently has no interior, no power steering and no radio. BUT I do still have the entire interior minus the carpet, and the entire power steering setup to go along with the sale. The car has literally 5 miles on it since the rebuild. Im still in the breakin process so be assured your getting a VIRGIN fresh engine. I havent even seen boost yet.

OK and now for the good stuff... here is the list of parts and work that have been done to the car.

1993 Nissan 240sx Base Model (Manual crank windows, no sunroof, no spoiler, no rear wiper)RUST FREE CAR!

- CA18DET Rebuilt with CP Pistons, ARP Head and Main stud kits, Clevitte Bearings, File-fit Total Seal rings, Bronze valve guides, New Valve Seals, 5angle Valve Job, Nismo 8puck Clutch with Pressure plate, Stock Reconditioned rods with NEW OEM rod bolts and assembly balanced. New OEM Oil pump and New OEM Water Pump and Rebuilt Alternator. Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator with Electric Fan, Topmount SS Autochrome Manifold, rewelded internally at weak points for strength with T3 off of RB25DET (needs rebuild but still works) KA24DE Throttle Body with Custom throttle pulley, New Z32 Fuel Filter, Walbro 255 Fuel Pump, B&M Short Shifter (and knob), Cusco Solid Motor Mounts, AEM Wideband, Autometer Phantom II LED Boost Gauge, Greddy Type RS BOV, Front Mount with Custom Intercooler Piping, Custom Downpipe and 3" sideexit exhaust (comes with slip in muffler insert) Greddy Turbo Timer (Black), Trunkmounted Optima REDTOP brand new with working Moroso Killswitch mounted below center tail light, Weld 15x8 and 15x4 Draglites with new Dunlops up front and BFG Drag Radials out back (DR's even have stickers on them still as shown in pictures)

** Car comes with 2 ECU's one working and one needing repair, 2 ignitors (BOTH GOOD) and 2 MAFS (BOTH GOOD)**

I also have a bunch of un-installed parts sitting with me right now. none of which will be parted out... I have a second RB25DET T3 Turbo needing a rebuild, Precision SC61 needing rebuild and repair to compressor outlet, DSM Direct drop in 450cc Injectors, GODSPEED Coilovers 16way adjustable with adjustment tool, Z32 VLSD with Axles, 10pt Mild Steel roll cage, JEGSTER Driveshaft Loop

Car is a clean car. Has an uncracked dashboard, clean interior etc.

the list of things that are needed to be finished on this car to be a good reliable daily drivers is very short... It needs all the transmission wiring hooked up (which im going to do over the next couple days), get the boost gauge hooked up and working properly and fix the oil seepage issue.

Ive got almost exactly $9700 invested in this entire car right now. I Understand fully that i cannot sit here and ask 9700 for the car, so im not going to.

All im going to ask from the car is 8000obo. Pictures are below and please do not ask me to part the car, because i WILL NOT PART IT OUT.

The ca18det is an "underdog" of sorts which is why I chose to build one, with their ability to rev fast and high and their relitively light weight, they make a great engine for racing. Parts may seem scarce, but there are plenty out there from companies such as JUN, Tomei, Greddy and HKS.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I probably forgot a few things as this build has been nearly 8 months in the making. ***please keep your negative comments to yourself.***

Thank you! Please direct all inquiries to my cell or email address!

the above is a classified thread i have posted througout the entire nissan community as well as on many southern craigslists.

As i mentioned to dee the other day on the phone, I just got this thing running and id really like to continue, but there are a TON of things going on for me right now and i need to jsut get myself a truck or something for now.

My mom needs back surgery and that is first and foremost for me, family is my number one concern and id give everything i have just to make sure they are all healthy. That paired up with the fact that my band is playing out alot and ive had 0 time to work on the car in the past 3 weeks hardly, is really why i am selling this car. Most of the money will go to pay for my moms back surgery since she is out of work, has no insurance, and is barely collecting enough disability to pay for the house and her car.

Its been a fun ride, this is a badass car, VERY fun and easy to work on and a TON of time has gone into this car.

as it says above, any questions, email me or call my cell.

Phil

UPDATE: 3-30-08...

VLSD has been installed into the factory S13 diff housing using Z32 out drives as well as axles.

Car runs and drives great, may need a tune tho, its loading up a little bit but once it clears out it pulls nicely to redline

That's awesome! You gotta make a video for all of that have been following your build! (and unfortunately problems) I would love to hear that thing screaming at 8.5k!

Sorry to see you give up after the project is done. I was doing the same thing you were at the same time and I almost gave up but i decided to sell the shell because i got a s14 now and it is completely stock. I'm putting the built CA in the s14 and making it a nasty street machine.

But my question to you is, do you have the power steering and AC pumps from the swap still because i got the whole car with a blown motor but it didnt have those things. I built the motor and after i broke it in i sold the shell.

If you have those things for cheap you can reach me at [email protected]

Anyway good luck on the sale
